16-17 November 2017, at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit and International Convention Centre, Johannesburg

"This month I’ll attend BCX Disrupt, a technology focused conference in Johannesburg. I’m intrigued to unpack what disrupt means in the context of South Africa, learning how to build sustainable competencies in a disruptive world, as well as hearing how thoughts of speakers like Malcom Gladwell and will.i.am can be applied to South Africa", says Mikael Hanan, former COO and founding member of Superbalist.comClick here to read more about Mikael's view on this exciting Summit, and the value to corporates, ICT specialists and entrepreneurs, in attending.
Baratang Miya, CEO of GirlHYPE Coders, who had been chosen by the US State Dept’s in 2015 TechWomen program as an Emerging Leader, who served on the Silicon Cape Exco as head of Transformation and who was 1st runner up for MTN Women In ICT Community Builder Award 2016has a different view of disruption, saying that "in order to be considered disruptive innovations, ideas and inventions, or even parts of ideas and inventions, must clearly revolutionise an industry and propel the use of technology into an entirely new and lasting direction. For me it’s about rethinking fundamental assumptions.". Read more on Baratang's view of disruption here
In closing, there are many different views on the inherent value of disruptive business leadership and technology.
